Joining the Fediring

I discovered over the last few days that the old concept of the webring has been ressurected. The ring I’m joining is fediring - a webring for fedizens.

If you don’t know what a fedizen is, its someone who uses the fediverse. In my case, I use toot.wales as my server, but it can federate with other activtypub servers - while this all sounds complicated, you don’t have to understand any of this to use it.

As a user on a federated server, you can follow any user on any other federated server, whatever type of server it is (text, images, videos etc) and all the updates from the accounts you follow appear in your timeline…

You’ll find the links in the footer, and once my site has been added, they should start working and you’ll be able to navigate from here, to other personal sites operated by other denizens of the fediverse.
