X-Clacks-Overhead: GNU Terry Pratchett, Hywel Williams
So, what is X-Clacks-Overhead? It is a concept from the book “Going Postal” that embodies the idea “A man is not dead while his name is still spoken” as a form of memorial for those who have passed away. You can find a full explanation on the X-Clacks-Overhead website
Some websites, including this one have extended this to include the names of other people who have passed away, in this case my late friend Hywel Williams and author of the Underground History website (preserved by the Internet Archive) , which tells the fascinating stories of some the lost and abandoned underground stations of London.
